Call Mounts for Packers Legend to Apologize on Live TV for Disrespecting Injured Dak Prescott

After jersey No. 4 injured his hamstring in the game against the Falcons, people have expressed concern and extended prayers for Dak Prescott’s recovery from his heartbreaking injury. Though he received reactions for his recovery, the former Packers’ legend, James Jomes was not on the sides of concerns and prayers. And the league has not accepted what he said about the Dallas Cowboys QB. People are calling for an apology from James Jones for the harsh comments.

Though the former wide receiver has tendered an apology to the injured QB and what he said, you can’t undo the harsh words he uttered on live TV. The Cowboys’ fans and sports enthusiasts want James to apologize on TV as he said what he said on the Live TV show ‘Facility‘. Per Emmanuel Acho, his apology was “a step” in the right direction but he “disrespected Dak Prescott on TV” and must “apologize on TV.”

James Jones, Fox Sports analyst, opined on the QB’s injury saying “Dak quit, and it’s crazy because it ain’t even funny though. My man is quitting on these dudes.” He continued, “Is it off the bone or something? Because there is no way you’re telling me you’re out four weeks with no answers, no fight, nothing for a hamstring. And you’re a quarterback. There ain’t no way.”

However, the flood of opinions increased when the Cowboys confirmed that the QB’s ‘hamstring tendon partially tore off the bone‘. And this becomes a problem for the Cowboys as their record is 3-5 in the middle of the season. However, the head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters, “Prescott is hoping to return at some point this season, even with an injury as serious as his”. So, the QB will not be playing for at least four weeks, and the Cowboys have lost their QB in the middle of the season—one who might not return at all if he requires surgery.

Dak Prescott’s injury: Another reason for the Cowboys’ headache
With a completion percentage of 64.7% for 11 touchdowns and 8 interceptions, his QBR is 46.7, which is not so decent. Amid inconsistent performance of the offense, he was there on the gridiron if the franchise was facing a problem.
Currently ranked 3rd in the NFC East division, the Cowboys have only achieved victory 3 times out of 8 games. A major issue the franchise faces is their poor start, having scored just two touchdowns on average in the first quarter. Adding to their woes, the Cowboys’ lack of new running backs is a significant disadvantage. Statistically, their rushing yards per game are among the worst compared to their competitors.
